Urban planning in the OMY area, a CBD district, to promote sustainable business and to realize a “Regenerative” society, a concept that goes beyond sustainable business. We provide full support for projects that incorporate and collaborate with knowledge from Europe, where there are many advanced examples in this field.
WHY
To create a place to communicate sustainability from Japan to the world in the heart of Tokyo, in the OMY area, and to connect European knowledge and networks for global innovation.
FOCUS
Collaboration with a Dutch architectural firm and a consulting firm with advanced sustainability knowledge, so that this project will take the lead in urban planning to drive sustainability in Japan.
PROCESS
・Management of collaborations with European companies
・Translation and interpretation of various documents, proposals and meetings
・Research European information related to sustainability and urban planning
・Coordination and attendance of site visits to Europe
OUTCOME
In the process of incorporating the findings of European companies into the project, things sometimes go wrong due to differences in culture and project background. To prevent this from happening, we worked hard to reconcile the values of both parties and ensure that the project proceeded smoothly.
